A gorgeous accessible self-catering cottage in Northumberland has just been added to our website!

Cheviot View is a luxury self-catering holiday cottage on the edge of Northumberland National Park, near Alnwick, Cragside, Hadrian's Wall and Rothbury, as well as Bamburgh, Craster and Seahouses on Northumberland's Heritage Coast.

There is a bedroom that has a king-sized bed and en-suite with walk-in shower, tucked away from the main living areas, and providing self-contained sleeping accommodation. The king-size bed can be split into two 2ft 6in single beds, if preferred, which allows full wheelchair access into the en-suite.

All the public areas in the hotel are accessible by wheelchair, except the pool. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but they have a partnership with a few restaurants situated at 50m away from the hotel, which are wheelchair acceptable.

Cossington Park is an exceptional destination, a luxurious holiday rental in a historic house and, most fundamentally, a distinctive home that offers opportunities for larger groups or families to come together for weekend breaks, holidays and special occasions.

The ground floor of the cottage is all on one level with a wooden floor throughout. There is a ground floor double-twin room and an accessible wet-room with shower seat and grab rails. The open plan kitchen, diner and sitting room open onto a decked terrace and wheelchair-friendly small walled garden with handrails. A variety of birds visit the garden and our little nesting box is regularly in use. There is a step-free route from the side door of Park Cottage to the back door of Park House. There are two ramps on the route and no steps into Park House. There are steps within Park House.
