Description
This accessible tour will enable you to appreciate Costa Rica first-hand, with the cities’ museums and architecture, culture, and coffee; and the rainforest and the wildlife, from the parrots to the crocodiles. And when you need to relax, you can appreciate the fantastic Costa Rican beaches and hot springs. This tour does not include airplane tickets

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Costa Rica
    Right after migration, the staff will have a board with your name. Please identify yourself. They will let you know where your luggage will be and how to exit. Then when you exit the airport you will find another board with your name. Your guide and private vehicle will be waiting and will transfer you to the hotel. Upon arrival at the hotel, the guide will be delivering your Welcome Kit, which contains important information for you about the country, safety tips, maps and vouchers. Your guide will sit down and explain the itinerary and answer any questions you may have about the trip.

Day 2: Irazú Volcano
    Today you will visit the Irazú Volcano National Park and admire some of its craters and beautiful mountain views. Its name come from indian village that existed in the volcano called Iztarú, that means “hill of tremor and thunder”. Then you will head to the Lankester Botanical Garden, which is a world class collection of thousands of orchids. Lunch is included on the way.

Day 3: Corso Dairy Farm
    After breakfast, you will have a guided private tour to Corso Dairy Farm, where you will learn how to milk a cow and how to make cheese. You will also go around the strawberry fields, collecting and eating them. You will have lunch here and then head to Sarapiqui, an eco-destination.

Day 4: Sarapiqui Boat Tour
    Your guided private transportation will take you to La Selva Research Station where you will have a guided visit of the Universal Trail in the middle of the rainforest. It is one of the finest places for birdwatching. You will have lunch at La Selva Research Station, and then go to have an amazing river tour in Pozo Azul.

Day 5: Arenal natural life
    Arenal Volcano National Park has an universal trail. It’s on the Peninsula Section. And today you will explore this park. The peninsula trail, consists of 1.2 kilometers in the middle of the forest, where you can see birds such as the boquilla picoquilla, the peacock, the bird umbrella and the bell bird. Universal access to an easy beautiful trail, outstanding premises with unbeatable views to the Arenal volcano and its lake. You will have lunch at a local restaurant in La Fortuna downtown and the rest of the afternoon at leisure.

Day 6: Arenal adventure and hot springs
    Canopy tour where you will be swinging from along the rainforest just like monkeys do. The course is divided into 3 sections, the first consisting of 8 wires and 9 platforms with length of 210mts long and an average height of 25mts, which are being fully immersed in the rainforest. In the second stage you’ll place the Tarzan Swing. And the third has 5 cables and 6 platforms with lengths ranging from 100m up to 430mts, the largest burst of adrenaline and fun that continues to jump back to Tarzan.

    There is no visit to Arenal if you don’t take the time to enjoy the famous hot springs. So this evening you will have time to explore and relax of various thermal pools. Dinner is included.

Day 7: Naranjo Coffee Tour and Central Pacific Coast
    Check out from Arenal and private transfer to the Pacific Coast. On the road, we will take you to Naranjo to live a coffee tour and have a great lunch of local cuisine. Here, you will learn step by step about the history and process behind every Costarican cup of coffee. Then we will continue the ride to Jacó Beach.

Day 8: Adaptive Surfing at Jacó Beach
    Today is surfing day! No matter if you have surfed before or not, or if you know to swim or not. We will take you to live the adrenaline of the waves with professional surf instructors that have plenty of knowledge and expertise with people with disabilities. This will be an unforgettable experience.

Day 9/10: Manuel Antonio National Park
    Two days for discovering and exploring Manuel Antonio National Park. It is one of the most beautiful national parks in the world, where you will be able to see very closely the natural fauna and admire the greatness of the vegetation, with the help of your private guide you will see different animals as monkeys, slothes, snakes, frogs, tucans, butterflies, etc. Plus, there are amazing beaches with clear water and an Universal Trail where you can comfortably roll. We will take with you an special chair so you can also go around the trails that are not wheelchair friendly too. Dinner included at the hotel both days.

Day 11: Crocodile tour and Central Pacific
    Check out Manuel Antonio and transfer to San José. On the way, you will enjoy a boat tour at Tarcoles River and Mangrove which is full of wildlife. The Estuary of Guacalillo and the Tarcoles River offer the opportunity to observe one of the largest populations of American crocodile (Crocodylus acutus) in America, also discover the mangrove area with a high percentage biodiversity among which there is a large number of waterfowl and one of the most important conservation area of the Scarlet Macaw in the country. Lunch is included.

    At night, you will have a guided private tour around the historic places in San José downtown, and get some crafted beers on the road before going to sleep.

Day 12: ZooAve and Sarchí
    In the morning we will visit the ZOO AVE Rescue center. This center focus on conservation, animal welfare and environmental education. Within our park you will find beautiful botanical gardens and more than 125 species of animals, among them birds, mammals and reptiles that have been rescued and, due to health or behavioral reasons, cannot be fully rehabilitated for reintroduction into their natural habitat. The large enclosures are naturally designed to offer these animals quality of life and enrichment.

    Then, we will visit the town of Sarchi. Recognized artisan village in Costa Rica, Sarchi is well known for its typical traditional carts made and sold throughout the country. As a national symbol of Costa Rica, they are elegantly carved and hand-painted with vibrant and eye-catching colors. The art of painting these beautiful carts is a tradition in Costa Rica that has been passed down from generation to generation. You will visit one of the largest and oldest factories in the country, here you can learn about the history and how the carts are made. We will have lunch in Sarchí and the head back to the hotel to leisure.

Day 13: Departure
    This would be your last day in Costa Rica, your guide will pick you up at the hotel at the agreed time and take you to the airport.
