Located in Diagonal Mar within the new business and cultural area of Barcelona next to the new International Centre of Convention. However, if you are looking for a hotel in the heart of the culture and history of the city then this is not the place for you. Hotel Princess is located in the suburbs of Barcelona, a 20 minute metro ride from the centre of town. However there are some good points to this. For a start it’s very quiet, you would never get this good a nights sleep in the centre of town. The location of the Princess Hotel also means that you are a 5 minute walk away from 4km of relatively unspoilt beaches from Playa de la Nova Mar to Playa de la Nova Icaria.The Hotel Barcelona Princess has a complete range of services in order to make your stay enjoyable and unique.
Access
Good access in and around the hotel. Adapted rooms have wheel in showers and grab rails. Barcelona is accessible. One visitor described it as the "the most accessible city in Spain we have visited and we plan to return again and again as it was a pleasure to be in a place so full of historical buildings and yet so much energetic innovation going on." Most of the pavements are ramped, even in the old Barri Gotic. There are plenty accessible buses with a ramp that comes down easily to floor level allowing for easy access. Most of the bars and cafes have a small step or a ramp and the new waterfront area with the Rambla del Mar is accessible as is much of the Eixample district above Placa Catalunya. Accommodation
The hotel boasts 364 guest rooms with an ultra-modern design and warm colour that provide the sensation of silence and internal peace. The rooms are elegant with fittings of the highest quality. All of the rooms have free ADSL internet, a free minibar, safe, satellite TV, king size beds, and due to the tremendous height of the hotel most have panoramic views over the city or out onto the sea.

You may choose between one of the 2 outdoor heated swimming pools, one on the 23rd floor allowing a sweeping view of the entire city and one on the 3rd floor attached to the fitness centre. Or head to the spa-centre and treat yourself with a massage. The Hotel Barcelona Princess is perfect for business. The facilities are good and the hotel itself has a professional aura. It’s slick and modern and has everything you need for a comfortable trip. The conference rooms in Hotel Princess are spacious and have been well designed to provide natural light and good views, should your mind need a wander.

Princess Crown Bar on the 23rd floor is the ideal place to organise a cocktail or informal meeting next to the swimming pool and solarium with sea views, contemplating a spectacular view at the city of Barcelona. You can also take tea in the avant-garde “The Corner”- bar on the ground floor - or relax on the terrace of The Gym Bar bar next to the swimming pool and the “Spa”zone. Barcelona has an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from.
