The cottage is conveniently situated in gently rolling countryside on the Bedfordshire/Cambridgeshire border.

The cottage is equipped to a very high standard and has four bedrooms. There is a bathroom that is equipped to M2 standard for those less able. Three of the bedrooms have double beds and one has two single beds sleeping 8 comfortably. It has been awarded 4 Stars by Visit Britain.
The cottage is in a courtyard setting around a gravel car park. The small step into the cottage is 5.5" high, there is a ramp available if required. The door opens to 31". Once inside Acorn all the floors are of polished hardwood and are on one level. The kitchen/dining/living room are all open plan and can be accessed from the front hall via double doors opening to 46". The back door in the kitchen leads to a small enclosed area overlooking the farmyard *they are a working farm and the farmyard itself should not be entered* The step from the back door is 8" high and the door opens to 31". The main bathroom door opens to 28", the bath is 22" tall and the toilet 17.5" high. There is a shower over the bath. A second en-suite shower room has a step in shower, the step is 11" high, toilet 18" high, the door opens 28" wide. A third en-suite has a door opening 25", the step for the shower is 11" high, the toilet is 17" high.
The M2 rated wet room for those less able has a wheel in shower with a fixed seat to the wall. When lowered it is 22" high and has a right hand transfer. The toilet is 19" high and has a left hand transfer. One grab rail is close to the shower, another next to the toilet. The main door to the wet room opens to 31". The sink is 22" high. From the hall are four bedrooms, each bedroom door opens to 31".
Facilities
The cottage is all on one level, has polished hard wood floors throughout and has a fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge freezer, cooker and radio. The kitchen/diner and living room are all open plan giving a large area for the family to spend their time together. The living room is connected to Free view TV and has a video and DVD player.
The cottage has an enclosed area at the back looking into the farmyard (no animals apart from the farm cats and a few tractors). All towels and linens are included in the price as is the heating and Wi-Fi.
