This is one of four barn conversions on-site situated at Redmoor in mid-Cornwall. It is M3a standard having level access for wheel chairs and wet room facilities and if required can be let together with another property to create a roomy 3-4 bedroom cottage.
Access
Accommodation
This is very spacious single-storey cottage, with level access to the front and rear, and parking right outside the door. It is very popular with both wheelchair users and the able bodied. It is also particularly suitable for parents with pre-school children. Free WiFi internet access throughout. There are level patios to the front and back, and a lawn to the rear. There is level access to the duck pond and pets paddock. The owners live nearby, and are happy to assist you in any way during your stay. The cottage is accredited by Quality in Cornwall. Previous wheelchair using guests have highly praised the cottage, and many of them have immediately re-booked their next holiday.
Facilities
The fully equipped kitchen includes a fridge and freezer, eye level built in oven, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen benefits from an adapted low level ceramic hob, and sink with knee space under. The dining table is pedestal style to allow dining from a wheelchair, there are four dining chairs and also a carver chair.
The lounge area has a vaulted ceiling with exposed original beams and solid oak floors. There is a comfy leather three seater sofa and an electric rise and recline armchair. There is a flat screen TV and DVD, with freeview satellite service. An electric wood effect stove is there to provide a cosy country feel to your holiday. The cottage is also covered by the free Wi-Fi service.
Central heating is available throughout the cottage with thermostatically controlled radiators.The double bedroom has an iron framed bed, with space under for your own or hired hoist if needed. There is an open shelf with hanging rail under and also a chest of drawers. The very spacious twin bedroom can also be used as a double with zip and link divan beds. There is plenty of room for an extra single bed if needed (extra charge applies). It has a built in wardrobe and dressing table. There is also a utility cupboard with iron, ironing board, clothes horse, vacuum cleaner, dustpan and brush etc. All beds are made up with fresh linen ready for your arrival and towels are also provided. The large bathroom has all the necessary grab rails, basin with knee space under, and a walk/roll-in shower with adjustable shower chair, and toilet seat raiser. There is a light over the basin and a shaving point alongside. There is also has a double ended bath.
