Location
The cottage is set in 240 acres of pasture and woodland and commands probably one of the finest views to be found in the Northern Lakes. It is a working sheep farm. Within easy driving distance are Derwent Water, Thirlmere, Ullswater and the famous waterfall 'AiraForce', Buttermere, Loweswater and Crummock Water. The towns of Keswick and Cockermouth, the birthplace of the poet William Wordsworth, are also nearby.

Accommodation
This lovely accommodation offers twin beds with your own personal ‘postcard’ view of the lake. Dine in the comfort of the traditional cottage style pine finished kitchen/diner and watch the sailing boats on Bassenthwaite Lake. Relax in the cosy lounge/diner with a video of your choice. To wash away those walking aches and pains the shower room provides hot water for those in need! Traditional cottage style pine finished kitchen complements the dining area.
Facilities
The cottage has a unique character and, most importantly, has been updated with those less mobile in mind. Having taken guidance from previous customers, kitchens now have wheel-under sinks and hobs, bathrooms that have lowered vanities and mirrors as well as wheel-over shower decks or shower chairs. Even the bedrooms have been adapted with such things as low hanging wardrobe space and wheel under dressing tables.
