This cottage is in converted farm surrounded by fields and woodland with spectacular views of the glorious North Devon countryside. Set in over 40 acres of private grounds, this comfortable stone cottages has been tastefully converted from the original stables and barns to accommodate any guest. It is fully equipped with everything you need to relax & enjoy your stay.
Access
This comfortable cottage is single storey & welcomes families of all generations being National Accessible Scheme Level Two. Wheelchair friendly with wider doorways & ramp access, this cottage was designed to provide home comforts to wheelchair users, offering a large wet room style shower, with correctly installed rails next to the shower, loo & basin. They can also provide a static or wheeled shower chair & commode.
Accommodation
A wheelchair-friendly, family cottage that sleeps four to six people. It has two bedrooms, one king-sized room, one single room and a quirky hayloft single bedroom accessed by a ladder. The lounge and kitchen area also has a double sofa-bed which can be used if necessary. The family bathroom has a wet room-style shower and safety handrails. With its own private decking area and garden it's perfect for enjoying those hazy summer evenings too. The decked level pathway through the gardens means everyone can enjoy the wonderful views.
This is a dog-friendly cottage. So your pooch will receive their own Doggy Hamper when they arrive with a blanket, towel, poo bags and some tasty treats.
Facilities
The open plan lounge & dining room is spacious & well equipped with tv, freeview, books & table games, video/dvd, ipod dock, Xbox & WIFI. The French doors lead out onto your south facing terrace with wonderful farmland views & private access to the gardens - perfect for relaxing or enjoying a BBQ!
There is a tea station in the cottage, with complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits.
