Location
The lodge is nestled in 10 acres of peaceful Devon countryside, which overlooks the private 1.5 acre course fishing lake. Situated in Ashwater near Beaworthy the lodge is just under 15 miles from Bude.
Access
The lodge is purpose built to be fully accessible so it is an ideal place to stay if you have reduced mobility or if you are a wheelchair user. There is a pathway to the lake and through the orchard area which is stoned underneath so that wheelchair and mobility scooter users can explore the lovely surroundings.
Accommodation
The one bedroom lodge is a detatched end-of-row cottage in a peaceful setting. The bright kitchen includes an oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer dryer.
The bedroom in the lodge has a stylish king-sized bed, a built in wardrobe, a dressing chest of drawers and two 3-drawer bedside cabinets. The curtains and runner were custom made locally. There is a wet-room with a power shower and all lodges have individually-controlled central heating systems. All beds have Egyptian cotton bedding.
Outside there is a South-facing wooden deck with lovely views across the lake to the fields and woodland beyond, which can be accessed by patio doors from the lounge. There is a car parking space immediately in front of the lodge and a covered porch for storing your walking boots, bicycles, surfboards or mobility equipment. There is also access to a washing line and a barbecue area.
Facilities
The lodge features an open plan living room with laminate flooring and a luxurious corner leather sofa bed as well as a flatscreen HD TV with built-in DVD/CD player. The light and airy living area has a fitted dining table which can accommodate up to 4 people. The corner sofa-bed is a small double and therefore it is suitable for 2 children or 1 adult.
