Location
A detached two bedroom bungalow, with twin single beds in each bedroom. The lodge aims to provide a holiday to meet the needs of those with complex needs such as Autism, ADHD, Tourettes, and sensory impairments, and the needs of family too. The lodging is fairly secluded, and so most (but not all) restaurants and bars are at least a third of a mile from your stay. However, Lincolnshire is a flat area, and there are accessible places to eat out in the area. There are also a range of local attractions within nearby driving distance of the lodge.
Access
The lodge is accessible, offering guests adapted accommodation, with wide floor room for turning space, level access, and a bathroom featuring a wheel-in shower, shower seat, and grab rails. The private pool features a pool hoist.
Accommodation
The completely detached lodge is well-furnished, with leather furniture and hardwood tables and chairs, spacious rooms, and a bright and vibrant, calming colour scheme. There are no radiators, all heating is under-floor. Outside a large patio with a family dining table, chairs, parasol, and cushions is featured, offering magnificent views. A fifth person can be accommodated with a fold-out bed or cot, at an extra cost. The television comes with a DVD player, and there is a small library of DVDs from which you can borrow from. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is also available.
Facilities
There are a wide range of facilities on-site for disabled people and family alike to enjoy.
There is a large communal room, with a fully fitted kitchen and there is a range of toys, indoor games and art equipment for all to enjoy. There is also a selection of tables and chairs which can be re-arranged to suit the needs of your party. For example larger groups may gather for their evening meal where they can enjoy preparing and eating a meal together.
There is an indoor play barn, featuring a wheelchair accessible soft play, and offers entertainment such as table tennis, table football, pool tables, a floor drum set and electric piano, etc.
The site features a pool you can visit, by booking private sessions. The pool environment is warm, and the pool is heated to a higher than average temperature. A pool hoist is available, and a selection of swimming aids and floats, accessible changing facilities, and a specialist changing bed.
