Location
This an exceptionally large and spacious lodge in a secluded area of Lincolnshire, with 4 twin bedrooms. The lodge aims to provide for those with disabilities and complex needs, and cater for their families too. Due to the area most shops and restaurants are at least a third of a mile away, but delivery to your lodge can be organised. There are also a number of local attractions to enjoy within short driving distance.
Access
The lodge is accessible, offering exceptionally spacious rooms and wide floors, allowing for plenty of turning space, and the bathroom features a wheel-in shower, and grab rails at the toilet. The indoor pool features a pool hoist.
Accommodation
Stunning open-plan living space with room for 8, and 4 twin bedrooms. With a fold-out bed or cot, a ninth person can be accommodated. The bedrooms of the lodge offer a three-way lighting system, which is adjustable with both white and warm lighting. Fully-equipped kitchens with facilities for cooking and cleaning, along with an American-style fridge freezer, is available. Leather furniture and hardwood tables and chairs are featured throughout, and the open-plan living area features a 55” mounted television. Two contemporary bathrooms, one of which is a wet room with a wheel-in shower and hand basin. There are no radiators throughout the accommodation, all heating is underfloor. The furniture is bright and modern, and the wall colour schemes are soft and natural, giving the accommodation a calming and welcoming atmosphere. There is also a large outdoor patio area, with a table, chairs, cushions, and a parasol.
Facilities
There are a wide range of facilities on-site for disabled people and family alike to enjoy.
There is a large communal room, with a fully fitted kitchen and there is a range of toys, indoor games and art equipment for all to enjoy. There is also a selection of tables and chairs which can be re-arranged to suit the needs of your party. For example larger groups may gather for their evening meal where they can enjoy preparing and eating a meal together.
There is an indoor play barn, featuring a wheelchair accessible soft play, and offers entertainment such as table tennis, table football, pool tables, a floor drum set and electric piano, etc.
The site features a pool you can visit, by booking private sessions. The pool environment is warm, and the pool is heated to a higher than average temperature. A pool hoist is available, and a selection of swimming aids and floats, accessible changing facilities, and a specialist changing bed.
Additionally, there is an outdoor play park with safety matting, and a gym available to book privately. A small private wood with flat ground is fairly accessible. And a go cart track with self-propelled adult-sized go-carts.
