Location
Located in the seaside village of Ingoldmells, this park is only a 2 minute walk from beach while the popular Fantasy Island complex, one of the regions biggest tourist attractions, is only 5 minutes away. Elsewhere, the many cafes, eateries and entertainment venues are within walking distance.
Access
Each unit has an accessible level access shower room with a shower, hand basin and high level toilet. The floor is a non-slip pimple floor finish. There are hand/grab rails around the toilet and shower area which is open fronted. Static shower chairs are available (please request at time of booking). There is also an en-suite shower room in each of the apartments.
The bedrooms have moveable beds in order that hoists can be used from any side. They are all spacious with low level clothes hanging rail in wardrobes.
Accommodation
Finished in a modern, contemporary style and to a high standard. The apartment is designed for disabled users and with accessibility in mind, with tiled levels floors throughout and wheelchair friendly wetrooms and kitchens.
Facilities
These four star rated apartments are very spacious and wheelchair accessible with tiled floors and oil powered under floor heating throughout.
The sitting rooms all have leather upholstered sofas and chairs and at least one upholstered high seat single chair. The kitchens are large, light and airy with good lighting. There is a larder fridge with a small freezer above. They have a single drainer stainless steal sink with clear under space access. Lever taps over the sink. The oven is eye level with a hob that also has a clear under space access. A large table and chairs completes the kitchen and provides a good family eating area.
The apartment has 87 cm wide doors with a small weather bar of approximately 4cm which should not cause problems for motorised or manual wheelchairs. They are all accessible via a ramp and paved area.
