Located on the main river in Horning, with stunning views upstream and down. Sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
A prime location, riverside site on the Norfolk Broads. From here, you will enjoy one of the best holiday experiences in course fishing, bird spotting, and observing the wildlife. Expect to see some river traffic; yachts meandering past, the occasional traditional broads wherry, and motor boats taking a Sunday style cruise.
The Norfolk Broads is one of the most picturesque parts of England and offers perfect tranquility and beauty for all visitors.
Access
This property can be accessed by an exterior ramp (gradient 1:12) at the front of the property. A level and ramped route for guests is shared with, and passes in front of, neighbouring Horning Lodge. This leads to a hard-surface driveway, onto a roughly maintained tarmac road and a gravel surfaced car park, 50 meters from the lodge. Front doors are 32" wide suitable for assisted wheelchair users. Wide interior doors lead to the bedrooms. Toilet/Shower rooms feature floor level showers and wall-mounted handrails but may not provide quite enough space for some wheelchair users. VisitEngland publishes a formal Accessibility Guide online and they have rated this property as suitable for older and less mobile guests. One twin bedroom provides limited space for use of a wheelchair (other bedrooms provide less suitable space for a wheelchair).

Riverside Lodge shares a large lawn area of 75ft with Horning and Quayside Lodges. With the exception of access requirements guests are expected to use only the lawn area in front of their lodge.
An open plan lounge/dining area, with an internet connected TV, DVD player and Free WIFI (new in 2020). A modern kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven/grill/hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, toaster and kettle. Double doors lead to a small riverside balcony and decking area, overlooking the lawn. A rear door leads from the Kitchen, down several steps and onto the road behind the property.
Bedrooms consist of two twin rooms, one with a wash basin, and these share a toilet/shower room. A double room has an en-suite shower/toilet room .
