This luxury barn conversion is furnished to a very high standard, combining old and modern to give a contemporary feel, featuring spacious open-plan living.
Access
A ramp is provided for easier access to the front door of the cottage, this is movable. The cottage is open plan with wooden floors. There is ample room to move between the kitchen, sitting room and downstairs bedroom, with doors wide enough for wheelchair users. The ground floor bedroom is situated off the sitting room, with room for a wheelchair to manoeuvre around the twin beds and a lowered rail in one wardrobe. A whistle/bell is left in the bedroom. The ground floor twin bedroom has an en-suite disabled shower/wet room (M2), with a wheel-in shower, grab rails, emergency bell, and shower stool (shower chair available on request).
Accommodation
The spacious open plan sitting room and kitchen has wooden floors and underfloor heating. Leather sofas add style to the sitting area, with a Smart TV, DVD and free Wi-Fi. A sofa bed allows for 2 additional guests. There is a ground floor twin bedroom with an en-suite wet room. The first floor consists of two double bedrooms, with king size beds, and en-suite bathrooms. There is also another twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room. The cottage features a large enclosed garden, with a patio, garden furniture, and a barbecue.
Facilities
The dining table seats up to 10 guests, and the equipped self-catering kitchen has a range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble drier. An on-site wildlife hide and fishing lake may be used by the cottage, alongside a shared game room. Linen, towels, electricity, and Wi-Fi is all included as part of your stay. Up to two dogs are accepted at an additional fee. A highchair, cot, and stairgate are available on request.
