The 4 star B&B is set in the heart of the Shropshire countryside less than 10 minutes drive via country roads from the historic county town of Shrewsbury, the central hub of Shropshire. It is situated adjacent to the Bomere Heath cricket ground with the village of Bomere Heath only half a mile away with its local amenities of a small newsagent, a post office, a hairdresser and a fish & chip shop. From here you can visit many places of interest in Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh Borders. It is also located on the Shrewsbury to Oswestry bus route.

Relax in one of 6 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, named after GWR Steam Engines, each with en-suite shower rooms finished with Victorian style decorated suites. All rooms offer tea / coffee making facilities. Prices include a full English breakfast.
The sitting room comprises a large picture window with country views across to the village of Leaton and its famous Victorian gothic style church. In this room there is a 3-piece suite and coffee table, a 32" flat screen TV, a display cabinet containing memorabilia from the construction of the Channel Tunnel and various historic pictures and photos of interest relating to the house and its occupants.
Facilities
Wi-Fi is offered FREE of charge at the B&B. Also for enjoyment there is a selection of books of interest and a cards/chess/backgammon table. It also offers residents FREE PARKING for their large and small vehicles within the extensive grounds of the B&B.
There is a spacious dining room with seating for up to 20 guests on 5 tables. Through two arches, formed by the removal of the original windows, you can stand on what used to be the platform but is now a part of one of the new extensions to the property. There are two large windows here with views across the fields to Leaton village.
Suitable For
Ideal location for family get togethers. With ample off-road parking and wheelchair access.
