The Aksos suites are ECO-friendly self catering suites designed with the disabled person in mind. Visitors enjoy the amazing view of a green plain with orange, lemon and avocado trees and uninterrupted view of the beautiful lake Agia and the mountains of Chania. Access
The Aksos Suites are specifically designed for disabled holidays and offer many services including electric beds, fully accessible bathrooms with wheel in shower and grab rails and much more. There is a pool hoist so that all guests can enjoy a refreshing dip to escape from the heat during the day. There is also a wheelchair adapted vehicle for trips to the shops or to see the sites.

Accommodation
The Eco-friendly suites meet all safety specifications and have the amenities of a very good city hotel. Each apartment has a master bedroom, with an amazing view of the lake, an open plan living room and kitchen area, a wet room, private patio.

The bedroom can host two people and the living room has a day bed and can accommodate another adult or two children. The suites have single beds, double beds or electric beds.

Heated pool with high quality water which is disinfected with sea salt. (No use of chemicals therefore no skin and eyes irritation)

All areas of the complex are especially designed to provide accessibility and comfort for guests. Each apartment has it's own private veranda with a lake view and access to the common area of the pool, BBQ and outdoor activites. Parking is available for all apartments. One-day cruises with modern and luxurious boats can be booked.

Certified nurse practitioners provide assistance regarding health and personal care during your stay at Aksos Suites. Flexible timetable to address your personal needs. They believe that they give the opportunity to guests with disabilities to travel without a carer if they wish so. Dialysis can be provided in a private clinic with the latest equipment and high-quality services.

Within walking distance there are variety of restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Cretan food. The hotel can provide a selection of takeaway menus from restaurants in the region should you wish enjoy your meal on the terrace with the amazing views that your suite offers.

Equipment
Commode shower chairs, hoists, scooters and other mobility equipment are available for hire. This must be arranged at time of booking holiday.
