Villa Kivotos is a luxurious property located nearby Rethymno, combining modern facilities with traditional architecture. Locally sourced raw materials of Crete were used in the construction of the villa. It is surrounded in olive groves, with fantastic views of the Aegean Sea. Only a 5 minute drive away is the nearest village, Platanes, where you can find everything you need for your holiday.
Access
Villa Kivotos has been designed to accommodate disabled people. All bedrooms on the ground floor feature doors which open to a width of one metre, for ease of access. There are access ramps to reach the garden. The ground floor wet room is fully equipped for access, with a wheel-in shower, grab rails, and fold down shower seat, and room for toilet transfer. Sockets, light switches, taps, and alarm cords are all reachable while seated.
Accommodation
Villa Kivotos features 3 bedrooms, a double room and two single beds in a bedroom on the ground floor, and a suite on the lower mezzanine floor, featuring a double bed, and double sofabed. The ground floor bathroom features a wet room, with a luxury shower and wash basin. The living room includes a flat screen TV, DVD player, and hi-fi system.
The villa features a garden where you can find cultivated vegetables, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines, peppers, and aromatic herbs to include in your cooking.
Facilities
On arrival you will find a welcome present of supplies, making your first few days easier, including local olive oil and wine.
Villa Kivotos features a self-catering kitchen, allowing you to cook your own meals on your holiday. The kitchen includes everything you need, with hobs, an oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster, and also features a dining table with chairs and stools.
The property features a large, 8.5x4 metre swimming pool, which is cleaned regularly, and an outdoor shower. In addition to the outdoor furniture, 6 sun loungers are also available, with towels provided. The private garden area also features a barbeque, with charcoal supplies included.
Air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi internet access, and baby equipment (2 cots and 2 high chairs are available for guest’s use) are included with your stay. The owners are able to offer babysitting. In your accommodation, you can also find a washing machine, and ironing board.
