The Porto Santa Maria´s location is fantastic for both the actively inclined and those who would prefer to relax and listen to the breaking of waves.
The hotel is situated at the water's edge with direct access to the sea front promenade. Behind the hotel lies the old centre of Funchal, the well-known "old town". Its close relationship to the sea, the outstanding and exclusive views over the harbour where the cruise ships dock, its picturesque surroundings and the unique flavours of its cuisine result in genuine urban tranquillity.
