Perfect for families/friends who want to holiday together but need a little more support than a conventional apartment.
At Paraiso Jardim we don’t believe that you should be penalised because you have a mobility issue. You have the right to holiday with your family and friends just the same as everyone else so with this in mind we have converted one of our ground floor studios to give you the privacy you need but still feel part of your social group. Set in almost 5 acres of land and surrounded by open countryside, Paraiso Jardim Apartments are situated on a private estate 8 km from Lagos and 3 km from the beautiful bay of Praia da Luz. It is a short walk from the village of Almadena with its restaurants and cafes and a few kilometres from the fishing villages of Burgau and Salema. The beautifully renovated old farm buildings cluster round a sunny courtyard containing large bougainvilleas, old vines and trees, a working well and a fish pond. The whole estate offers a high degree of seclusion and security making it ideal for families and larger groups. Guests are invited to enjoy the mature gardens, lawns, large sheltered swimming pool and sunbathing terrace. There is also a BBQ area and summer kitchen shaded by flowering vines and a huge pepper tree, for informal get-togethers. Self-catering accommodation comprises one 3 bedroom cottage and two 2 bedroom cottage. There are also two 2 bed studios one of which has mobility aids and access

Access
The property has wheelchair access to the pool. Jasmine apartment has been modified to include mobility aids. It has a full Wetroom bathroom with enough room for wheelchairs to move about comfortably. The sink unit is fully adjustable and there are support handles throughout with a wall mounted shower chair. Access to the apartment is direct from car to door. The living area has plenty of room for manoeuvre and has stand alone easy chairs which can be moved if required. Although there is a small step into the apartment there is a ramp which can be used.

The property comprises of 5 apartments and when rented together has exclusive use of pool, gardens and all communal amenities.

Facilities
Each apartment has as a minimum Fridge, Kettle, Toaster, in addition
Vine also has a full working kitchen with oven.
Wisteria has a small kitchen with an Induction Hob.
Bougainvillea has full kitchen with a Ceramic Hob.

Each apartment has its own living, dining, bathroom and bedrooms are detailed above.

In addition to the apartments we have the Portuguese kitchen which is a communal kitchen with a 2 grill BBQ. There is plenty of seating and the kitchen contains enough equipment for 20 people. Its a favourite with guests as this area is lit by fairy lights in the evening and is perfect for social gatherings but its nice to have your own front door when you want to relax...

We have a large lawned area for playing and there are many mature trees for relaxing under including two large Eucalyptus.

The pool is 14 mtr x 7mtr and gated. There is also an access pathway and ramps to this area. There are plenty of chairs and sun loungers on the terrace area. The pool is also lit up during the evening if you fancy a late swim to cool off

Food and Drink
We are on the outskirts of a typical Portuguese village which is less than 5 minutes walk away.
Here you will find 4 resturant/bars with a further 2 bars.
There is a local produce market, a mini supermarket, hairdressers, dentist and we even have a laundry (not with machines but washboards and large tanks) you can still see these being used if you are up early enough by the locals.

A large supermarket is just 5klm away which stocks everything you will need.
