Gairn cottage is situated on the edge of Balmoral Estate in Royal Deeside which lies at the heart of the Cairngorms National Park.

Accommodation
This 2-bedroom cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests. There is an open plan kitchen-dining-living room with TV/DVD and patio doors. The kitchen includes an induction hob, fridge, oven, microwave and is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery and cookware. The main accessible bedroom has twin beds (one electric height adjustable bed) with ceiling track hoist, there is also a TV in this bedroom. The second bedroom is in an upstairs gallery and has twin beds. This cottage opens out onto the courtyard.

This is a common room where you can meet with other guests staying at The Manse Courtyard. It has an extensive games store, DVD, and cd library as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

There is a riverside patio with BBQ alongside the children’s accessible playground which includes swings, see-saw, chute, and accessible walkway between the trees.
Log Cabin

This is an indoor/outdoor play area where we store outdoor games, basketball etc. There’s also an indoor sandpit and toys including a mini-kitchen, art and craft materials, puzzle books and games. We also keep lots of information about the Cairngorms National Park here and the wildlife and nature you might see while you’re here.

Food and Drink
There are two local cafes within walking distance serving high quality home-cooked fare including delicious home-baking. The nearest pubs and restaurants can be found in Braemar and Ballater which are both approx. 7.5 miles from Crathie.
