Location
Casa de la Risa is found at La Cala which is a popular urbanisation on the edge of Javea on the Costa Blanca Spain.
If you want to be based in a relaxing and quiet location then Casa de la Risa is the place for you as you have the luxury of knowing that the beach and bustling promenade with a vast array of accessible restaurants is only a 5 minute drive away with facilities for all age groups to enjoy.
Access
The Villa has wide doors throughout so there are no issues with getting around in a manual or electric wheelchair and the Lounge, Kitchen and Dining area are all open plan to enable easy access. The hall leading to the bedrooms and family bathroom is wide and again the main bathroom is spacious for wheelchair use. There are 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 and a cot is available if required. Two of the bedrooms have views out to the pool and direct access on to the pool terrace.
The master bedroom has a King size electric bed with a memory foam mattress and space to transfer from either side. There is also plenty of room for a hoist if you require to hire one. The large ceiling fan and light can be switched on and off from your bedside and French doors provide direct access from the master bedroom on to the pool terrace and you have a great view of the pool from your room. The ensuite has a wide sliding door which leads you into the large bathroom with level access shower and there is a shower chair provided if required. There are fold down grab rails at either side of the toilet to help with transfers and the shower chair can go over the toilet if required.
Accommodation
The villa is on a large south facing plot therefore you can benefit from the sun all day long. The pool is surrounded by mature plants so you can enjoy plenty of privacy whilst having a swim. Then after your swim why not sit and relax and take in the panoramic views from the pool terrace.
The villa sleeps 6 and was purpose built to ensure it was wheelchair accessible, so along with other features it is level throughout and has wide doors for easy access. It has an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area to make it easier for you to get around in your wheelchair and there are 3 accessible bedrooms. French doors open out on to the pool terrace with direct access to the 10x5m kidney shaped pool. The master bedroom has a King size electric bed with memory foam mattress and the ensuite has a level access shower with shower chair and fold down grab rails at the w.c

The pool is 10x5m and provides hours of enjoyment for all of the family and the mature plants around the pool provide that all important privacy.

The private drive is wide to enable easy transfers in and out of the car and the remote controlled electric gates that enclose the grounds provide greater independence for you, but also gives you peace of mind that the children can play safely in the grounds.
