Hotel Vulcano is internationally renowned for its incomparable facilities and magnificent gardens, an oasis in the heart of Playa de las Americas. Relish a spot of afternoon tea in the sunshine and many refreshing seaside walks.
The Hotel Vulcano has bagged itself a great spot on Tenerife's south coast. It is only 300 metres from the beach and close to the hub of shopping and entertainment. Having said that, this modern hotel is tucked away from the biz of Playa De Las Americas, making it a quiet and peaceful holiday. All of the hotel’s facilities are accessible by ramp or lift.
In the lobby, they've brought the outdoors indoors. A massive atrium fills the marble-floored space with light. Plants, trees and fountains give a garden feel. It's like being in a big botanical garden.
Access
Good access in and around the hotel. The surrounding area is fairly flat and there are some good drop kerbs.
The main swimming pool is accessible by two pool hoists. The indoor Spa pool also has a pool hoist. The breakfast/dining room is large and spacious and there is direct access to pool area. Please note, adapted rooms are only accessible by one door leading out to the swimming pool A parking bay for mobility scooters is available near reception.
Accessible excursions operate several days a week and include an Island Tour, Mount Teide Volcano and Loro Parque.
Accommodation
The 371 bedrooms are modern, the new bedrooms are light and airy and they certainly don't scrimp on the space. There are a variety of room types available.
New UP! Product can be accessed by disabled clients - the Up product includes Complimentary snacks and drinks, including but not limited to: soft drinks, cava, beer and spirits. Completely refurbished rooms on the upper levels of the hotel with the best views and much more.
Facilities
The hotel has two large swimming pools in the garden. Notice that one of the pools is heated in winter to ensure you can take a relaxing dip, all year around.
Also at your disposal are two hotel bars, mini golf, French bowls, table tennis and a varied entertainment programme with sports, games and different daytime activities. Room Service is available from 7 a.m. to midnight.
