Location
The Iberostar Sábila in Costa Adeje, refurbished to a 5-star standard, is a luxury hotel in the south of Tenerife designed for relaxation and stimulation of the senses – for 16 years and older. Following renovation, the hotel is now opened to the shore, allowing guests direct promenade access and the luxury to take magical walks across Playa de Torviscas’ dark, volcanic sands. The beach is protected by a breakwater, tempering the waves.

Access
Access is good around the hotel, common areas are adapted for accessibility, and a pool hoist is offered to disabled guests to give ease of access to the main pool. There is also ramped pool access. Adapted rooms are equipped with a wheel-in shower, shower seat, and grab rails in the bathroom, and balconies are fully adapted for wheelchair use. ‘Star Prestige’ facilities are not accessible.

Accommodation
The hotel’s accommodation is blessed with a side sea-view, opening to Tenerife’s sun every morning, with an open and spacious room where you can brew fresh coffee with the scent of sea air. The Iberostar Sábila also offers a complimentary Wi-Fi network in all accommodations, with a maximum of 6 devices.

Facilities
The hotel features a large, primary swimming pool, which is fitted with accessible facilities to cater to disabled guests. Several nights a week, the hotel offers live music and shows. There is also a technology corner in case you don’t want to bring your laptop from home. Closeness to the promenade besides the beach, makes it easy and accessible for guests to explore local cuisine, markets, and experience the nightlife.

Aloe vera is grown incredibly close to the hotel, and is included in many of the spa treatments offered – including a water jet pool, steam rooms, and massage treatments – the plant’s use dating back to Cleopatra and Nefertiti of Egypt. The hotel also features a well-equipped fitness centre, offering a range of activities and sports, and its proximity puts it close to various water sports beyond the hotel under the inviting Tenerife climate.

The hotel and accommodation makes an idyllic holiday for couples, with a range of activities and relaxations under the warm and inviting Canary Island climate.

Food and Drink
The hotel features a main buffet restaurant, which offers both traditional Canary Island cuisine, and international dishes, or the two in fusion together, and including savoury crêpes and carpaccios. There are also themed nights, so guests can experience a meal from Mexico to Japan. The hotel includes show-cooking, and a wine list.

The hotel also offers an innovative food market style buffet, giving guests the choice to pick and choose delicacies from seven different stalls, and accompanied with magnificent views of the ocean, and at times live music.

The lobby bar is open throughout most of the day without restriction, serving anything from teas and coffees, to alcoholic drinks, to soft drinks, on guest’s preferences. A pool bar is also included, offering drinks by the poolside. At lunch, guests can also visit the snack bar, to have lunch by the main sun terrace with a selection of à la carte gourmet snacks and dishes, additional charge applies.

Equipment
Commode shower chairs, hoists, scooters and other mobility equipment are available for hire. This must be arranged at time of booking holiday.
