Fell End Bunkhouse is situated in open countryside amongst the hills of the Yorkshire Dales and within easy reach of the Lake District. Fully self-contained with it’s own kitchen, lounge, log-burner and showers including the fully accessible Greenslack building; it makes the perfect base for families and groups to explore these beautiful National Parks. All fees charged for Fell End go directly to supporting more disabled people access the outdoors at Bendrigg.

All beds have a covered mattress, pillow with pillow case and a spare blanket so all you will need to bring is a sleeping bag. The main feature in the living room is a beautiful multi-fuel-stove, which also heats the radiators. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and freezer. Entry is by a touch lock system. Dogs are allowed under strict supervision.

The cottage is entirely at Ground Level. The living/dining/kitchen area is open plan. The living area, which has a feature electric fire, is particularly large for a 2-berth cottage and contains a 3-piece suite for 5 persons. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, and washer/dryer. The crockery is high quality Denby. The large master bedroom has twin beds. The mattresses can be zipped together to form a luxurious super-king size double bed (please state preference on booking). There is a self-contained wet room shower room with WC and washbasin.

Well behaved dogs are also very welcome in this cottage (£15.00 extra charge) with plenty of walks right on the doorstep. The cottage is surrounded by open gardens with stunning views over Melrose and the Tweed valley. There are charcoal BBQs for guest use together with picnic tables and even an open barn in case you need to shelter from the Scottish sun (or possible rain!).

The cottage is kept cosy by our state of the art eco-friendly biomass heating system which is on 24 hours a day with temperature control in the cottage.

This is a spacious cottage with beautiful exposed Georgian stone walls in the living room. Sleeps 4. Ground Level. Large living room with attractive original stone internal walls and feature electric fire. Dining area. Kitchen with cooker, hob, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer. Two single bedrooms, one only suitable for wheelchair user; super-king double or twin bedded room. There is room in this cottage to set up a dining table to seat up to 18 guests for larger groups who wish to dine together (extra charge – please contact us for more details). Fully accessible ensuite bathroom with WC & WHB, and with electric shower over the bath. Extra room with WC and washbasin. Optional overhead electric hoist (Wessex) from large bedroom to bathroom (additional hire charge).

Sleeps four but one extra person could be accommodated on a zed-bed (additional charge). The cottage is entirely at Ground Level. The living/dining/kitchen area is open plan. The living/dining area has a feature electric fire with attractive original stone internal walls. The fully equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, refrigerator with small freezer compartment, and a washer/dryer. The crockery is high quality Denby.

The large master bedroom has twin beds. The mattresses can be zipped together to form a super-king double bed (please state preference on booking). There are two single bedrooms, only one of which is suitable for a wheelchair user. The bathroom is en-suite to the master bedroom, and can also be accessed separately from the hallway. There is an optional electric ceiling hoist (Wessex) which tracks from the Master Bedroom to the en-suite bathroom and transfers to the toilet and bath. There is an electric shower over the bath. There is an extra room with WC and washbasin.

Ralph Boyce House sleeps up to 6 people (2 with disabilities) on a self-catering basis. The disablity suite which comprises a twin-bedded room with profiling beds and a huge en-suite bathroom with height-adjustable basin, over-head bedroom-to-bathroom hoist, Clos-o- Mat toilet, hi-lo bath and wetroom shower is also modelled on the facilities at our other two houses to give our exisiting holidaymakers peace of mind. However, unlike our other two houses, Ralph Boyce House is a single-storey property making Ralph Boyce House a fantastic wheelchair friendly holiday cottage with easy access. In addition to the disability suite it comprises 2 further twin-bedded rooms, a family bathroom and an open-plan sitting and diningroom with an impressive domed ceiling. The property also boasts magnificent uninterrupted views over the valley, and impressive picture-windows help to make the most of this asset.
